Made the jump to Fuji Saturday, got some very fast glass as part of the deal. the XF56 f1.2 is particularly nice. All shot on an XE2 body

a couple from my first walkabout that show it off. all shots are SOOC Fuji film settings (the b/w are pretty much all monochrome + yellow filter. these are smaller uploads done camera to phone for upload (cool feature for fast posts) I haven't actually loaded anything on a computer yet and looked at the raw files (and given the jpeg performance I've seen there will be little need to PP) Noyt a leaica ((I wish) or even a real RF

@1.2 1/1200 XF56 f1.2

@ 1.8 1/140th XF56 f1.2

@ 1.6 1/2500 XF23 f1.4

@1.2 1/4000 XF56 f1.2

New "Franken-lens" project ... thanks to my Dremel and a Chinese M42 to PK flanged adapter, I converted a Mamiya/Sekor Auto SX 50/2 (another thrift store acquisition). Far focus is only about ten feet ... more can be gained if I machine the aperture ring down, etc. Having fun experimenting with this new creation ... ha! A few first test snaps ... (xpost)

Already posted somewhere else:

K1000, K55 mm f2.0, Ilford FP5+, the shots were taken in a museum at F2.0 and about 1/60 sec in relatively low light.

Modified Helios 44-2

These are all taken on my K3 with a KMZ Helios 44-2 that I've modified the aperture blades on to produce square bokeh.
What do you think?
