Thank you, we are all fine. It missed our area but not all were so fortunate.

Otis is cute! I'd love to take such shots, but hey... our European squirrels are shiest (or simply too fast).
Otis appreciated that....but he does prefer "handsome" over cute....makes him feel more "manly"!

Regards!

Learning a new lens... Pentax DFA 100.

I had to pick up flowers from the store for practice. The only thing growing around here this time of year, is my stomach.

Trioplan like bokeh, coming from a humble Rodenstock Splendar projection lens (FL=100mm, f: 1/2.8). I hope you like it.

It is a simple Cooke triplet and one of my favourite lenses intended for projection.

I see, time to apologize... I seriously did not plan to discredit his machismo .

Thanks Beachgardener,

No, I don't have an ID, but it was in the botanic gardens in Canberra, so it is a native - I'll probably be able to find it again when it flowers next spring .

...and yes, the 77 is definitely worth getting out. At the moment I am hovering between each of the 3 amigos - they are gorgeous lenses!

I've never really been down under so it is a long throw for me, but you should probably be looking into familly Myrtaceae and genera Homoranthus for the species.

Regards,

Marko
