This afternoon, I took apart a cheap teleconverter to use as an extension tube (one of the tips from the the 55-300 lens giveaway). I was having more fun just playing around with the lenses I removed, then with the (tele)extension tube.

K-5 and a D FA 100, looking through a double concave lens.

Goofing off with the SMC A 35-105/3.5 for the "Daily Challenge" ... wide open near MFD on K-5.

I like it!

Bigma bokeh at its best when I can get low ISO 800 and f8 in just the right light. Even handheld at 1/125 @500mm, it can be half decent!

Unfortunately I'm not 100 % sure because these shots were taken in June 2013. But it might be Tamron Adaptall-2 80-210mm f/3.8-4 (103A) or some other old film era zoom lens. First one was taken at f/5 and second one at f/7.1
