I understand that, it is a remarkable piece of precision engineering. With any luck the K1 might be a good reason for Pentax and Zeiss to be paired again with the new updates to the T* range. That 2/135 is calling my name.

I love your work with the DA*300, a brilliant lens and you create some wonderful work with it. I love the tones in your second image here too, and I'd love to see you wield some Zeiss in the future.

Not my creation, I have a brown thumb with plants. I take a healthy one and care for it until it dies.

Happy to take photos of them though.

I like the results you are getting from this little lens. I will have to take mine for a spin one of these days.

The fly on the picture is a species from family Bombyliidae, either Bombylius minor either some species from Systoechus genera. They tend to be disguised as bees or bumblebees and in larval stage they parasite other insects, usually solitary bees. Adults eat nectar. They are relatively easy to shoot in flight as they often hover. I was not as lucky today.

Well, here I am again among all this lovely bokeh on the last few pages, with this shot I was ordered to post. It is supposedly "stunning" bokeh only a squirrel could produce.
For me it is too bright, too busy, and just a little nauseating....but who I am to judge a squirrels point of view?

I took a dozen snaps with my broken K5IIs just to get one half decent.....all I found interesting was that a tiny screw was all that kept that handsome squirrel from plummeting to the earth and suffering massive embarrassment. See it?

It's getting closer to delivery of my new K1, and it won't be a moment too soon! This broken K5IIs makes shooting miserable.
When I get it and become an instant Pro, I'll still come over here.....and hopefully post something less "stunning" than these damn squirrels!

Regards!

Got bored waiting for my K1 so I took my K3 out with the SuperTak 50/1.4 8 Element for a walk in the woods.

Might have to be the first lens on my K-1
