It certainly does! I see it was shot with the K3. It might be a good example of how a great lens beats a great camera for most purposes. With all the hype of the K1 it still comes down to the glass on the front for superb shots. I am betting that if 100 shots were posted using any of the Ltd Lens but 3-4 different Pentax cameras, including the K1, all other things like lighting and focus being equal, no one could accurately pick out which camera was used. For internet posting the K1 is massive overkill.....for printing posters it will be fantastic. I can say this without any envy, I have a K1 coming any day now, but don't expect to see any real change in my shots using the same glass I am currently using. What makes perfection is the glass and the shooters ability. I can buy glass, but my ability is...as always...the weakest link.

I am not knocking the K1, I am sure I will love it, but let's keep reality real. Anyone thinking they can run out and buy a K1 and become a Pro is mostly insane. Like this guy....

"Got to save my cash for my Pro shooter outfit. I need alligator shoes and belt, a silk shirt, and some sleek stylish trousers. You can't be a Pro and go around in Farm Pants and a straw hat. Maybe an ivory cigarette holder too...even though I don't smoke, it will add some class...little gold band around it to match my gold belt buckle. Some dark aviator Serengeti shades and a gold money clip ought to round out the look.

I can hang out where Nikon,Canon, and Sony shooters congregate and show them what Pentax class is all about. You guys will be proud of me, no doubt!

Yep, I've read all those old FF threads and now I realize I too was held back all these years. I feel like I've been reborn....as the Pro I always should have been!"

Blurred background with K-3 and Revuenon 50mm f 1.4

Lilacs beside the pond. Blurred background, not quite bokeh?

Gotta love that little guy photo-bombing your bokeh shot!

This page has some of the best bokeh around! Very enjoyable!

Since I vilified the K1 yesterday ( not really!) I would like to add what might be a big plus for me. Low light shooting. My K5IIs is very good at low light but I expect the K1 will be better.

Here are two late evening shots in the dark Woods of Otis I shot yesterday using ISO 3200. They are not really bad..but they are not really clean either. I expect that with the same settings they would be very clean on the K1?.......I'll know soon.

However, I'm sticking to my original point yesterday...If shot with a K1 or most any other Pentax at ISO 100, I don't think many could distinguish which was which on a web posting?

ISO 3200-Spanish dove

ISO 3200 Mourning dove...They are called "mourning" doves because squirrels ate most all their food!

Shot on the K5IIs @ ISO 200......will the K1 do better?......I don't see it, not for small web posting.

So the point of my long drawn out "Rupert Type" post is that whatever you shoot with is probably as excellent as you are...and maybe like in my case, far exceeding your abilities!

Best Regards & Thanks to all for the wonderful shots here I admire with my first cup of coffee each morning!
