Love the bokeh on that 2nd one!

So far today the birds are winning the bokeh war...as usual.

Not bad for a fat lazy squirrel....

But the doves know more about bokeh.....She told me twice to wait until she got in just the right position...and I did.

This Woody wanted a shot at it....it's not the best of shots, and the bokeh is horrible...Woodies just don't "get it" with the bokeh.

Updates this afternoon late if a squirrel gets lucky, but I doubt that will happen.

I do appreciate all the lovely blooms here, they are a delight...wish I had some myself!

Regards!

The complimentary colours in the first image work a treat, particularly with the shallow DoF. Nice work mate.

Some more Steinheil München Cassarit bokeh. I do find 50mm to be a focal length difficult to use on the field but, being a specialty lens, Cassarit comes handy at times.

It was a total blowout today. After the squirrels saw this bird bokeh they all left the area with their little heads hanging low.

Whitewing and Spanish Dove

When the Whitewing landed it startled the little dove and she flipped her wings up to steady herself.

She calmed down.

Poor old Jay had a rough day it looks?

Another fun K1 day here! Most of these are crop shots, cropped again in processing, but still work for web posting.

Regards!

K-3 with Tamron Adaptall 2 55BB - 500mm f8

while sometimes harsh or distracting, I think that mirror-lens bokeh can be appealing (at times):

They are out in the wild but not in San José, you have to go to Península de Osa to see them. It is prohibited to have them in cages ...

That's great to hear!

They have them in Brazil but I've only ever seen them in cages and in the zoo... people used to have macaws as pets but I think that's been outlawed as well.
