It’s been a little while since I've posted, busy as usual I'm afraid , but here and there I get a chance to have a little fun with my gear.

A few recents from an outing to test a new to me *60-250mm in FF mode...I like this lens and it seems to have decent bokeh

@128mm f4

@250mm f4

Couple on the same outing with a dfa 100mm wr...just for fun

I like #4. Looks like one of those fiber optic light globes from the '70's/80's

Haha, we had one of those in our living room during the late 80's when I was a kid...it was in the style of a flower bouquet I used to think it was pretty cool the way the light traveled through the fiber and out the tips.

back into the field ...

Woke up this morning to find the electricity knocked out due to a passing night time thunderstorm ( no complaints, it's been very dry this summer ).
Went out into the field behind my house with the Meyer Optik Trioplan on my K5. It's an old German made lens that when used wide open at f2.8 produces this "soap bubble" bokeh. I had a tough time finding one with a m42 mount in the USA, but was lucky to get a nice copy from an eBay Germany seller. I like the bubble effect, but some do find it too distracting.

wow, that looks interesting! Looks like a "specialty" lens, but I like it! Now I am going to have to look it up, and I promised not to buy any more lenses!
