It's about 25 degrees below normal here today and feels more like Fall than August in Texas.

This squirrel swears he didn't change the background colors to make it look more like Fall....but I think he's lyin'?

He did say..."When you are on the Cheater Branch.....you cheat!"

Regards!

Ain't it great? Your squirrels look happier for sure.

Lovely! We have those same blooms that grow wild here.....I think we call them "Indian Blankets"?

You can mount your macro lens, go out in the muggy morning air, get all hot and sweaty ...and get yourself a nice bloom shot. Or...if you are a lazy Rupert type, you can sit at your desk, sip your coffee, point your Bigma out the window and fire away!

Before the only blooms I have are gone....A lazy man's bloom shooting....

I agree with the squirrels, they don't match a handsome squirrel's bokeh, but they don't roam around and destroy property either.

Regards!

Yes...it is a cozy set up, I agree!

Nice shots , the first one is my favorite...so gorgeous!

I put out some peanut butter and peanuts on the Cheater Branches but the lazy squirrels were too slow to get to them and the Jays ate it all up. This squirrel is investigating the "crime scene".

Keep an eye on him. He may be unscrewing the branch to get back at the jays.
