Nice shot. I am down in Medina, Ohio. Nice to discover a Pentax Forum member in Cleveland area. I am retired, so send me a PM if you ever want a free cup of coffee and some Pentax gossips. I have a fair collection of lenses and cameras.

Thanks. It is good to hear from a forum member close by. I may just do that one.

Tom

Just having a vine time with your botanical beauty of an image. ;-)

Maybe it was because of the vine, that “Femme Fatale” (Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro) was wide open.

She certainly cooked up some nice bokeh berries.

Wow, that's a shed load of nervous bokeh you've got going on there, especially on the second one.

Bokeh with Tokina AT-X 90mm f 2.5 macro.

OK, I am ready to join this club with a new (to me) lens, just arrived from a Japanese eBay seller in mint condition . . . I am already in love with this lens, but still learning its tricks. It goes to 1:2 or 1:1 with a hard-to-find adapter with glass optics included. I probably will not buy the adapter because I have another macro lens that goes to 1:1, the Kiron 105mm macro. The Tokina AT-X 90mm even has a nickname, the Bokina because of its reputation for smooth bokeh. Here are a few test shots from my second outing with this lens. The AT-X 90mm has an A setting, so all the Pentax K-3 modes can be used. I like aperture priority, which has been used with the included shots.

NOTE: I wish some knowledgeable forum member would instruct me on how to keep my photos from loading sideways as per the last of these three shots.

I see in the exif for the 3rd photo that it shows orientation is set to 270 degrees. Odd. Check the image rotation settings in your camera.

What is your workflow? When you copy the image files from your memory card to the computer, what software are you using?
