Nice work, everyone!
Here's a few holiday bokeh images, all taken with the M50/1.7 (originally posted a few years ago) Merry Christmas!

Auto Mamiya-Sekor SX F3.5 200mm + K110D at iso800 (overcast skies). Since these m42 Mamiya SX lenses have a recessed mounting surface, I inserted a rubber O-ring so that the SX aperture indicator pin and the aperture ring wouldn't bind against the K110D's body--this amounted to about 1-2mm of extension, hardly noticeable except for loss of infinity focus. Also, since there is no Manual switch on the lens, I am shooting it wide open.

Interesting work Paul, good stuff.

Are the blades on your ceiling fan decorated for the holidays too?

No, but I guess they should be, seeing how they are featured in every shot

And amazing you can get good bokeh at all with a ceiling fan with four straight blades.

I've heard you really need one with nine or more blades, but I've also heard some of those Russian ceiling fans do things their own way... 😋

OK, sorry. I couldn't help myself ☺

Lead tinsel from my great aunt's Christmas tree. A few pieces are still hanging in there.
