Are you using an extension tube or close focus adapter to get these? They're a fantastic series.

I'm going to have to try the same with my Voigtlander 58/1.4, see if I can see some crazy bokeh. I think the VL58 is spherically overcorrected, while the Helios is undercorrected, so the bokeh will likely be quite different.

Nothing else has been put on the Helios 44-2 except for the genuine Pentax m42 adapter. It focuses pretty close at just just 45cm.
