The painted bunting is another of the birds created by a kid with a new box of crayons. Nice captures, really happy to see good images of one of our most colorful birds.

Thanks Walter...I was lucky to get anything usable at 1/60 handheld but got lucky. I'd love to get some closer shots outside and with better settings...but you take what you can get!

What a brilliant colored bird...I've never seen one of those. You were definitely in the right place at the right time, hopefully he returns for some more portraits

A nice series documenting the progression of that lovely rose...if only roses grew well here in the humid South my wife would be ecstatic

Excuse me straying off topic Taka but that reminded me of this:
The Wall was such a unique piece of audio/visual art on so many levels...a memorable scene for sure!

You remembered . Beautiful orange-red color. Looks like it smells amazing too. Great shots @taks. Love the colorful bokeh in the first one.

You inspired me to shoot these three roses behind my parents house. Should bloom any day now.

This could have been called " vegie patch bokeh " too. K-3 and the magnificent 100 macro WR.

Repaired Tokina 28 RMC

I finally decided to clean the diaphragm and correct the focus problems I had on this abandoned piece of glass (was not used for more than 30 years).
And now... It's alive!!!!

K-3 + RMC Tokina 28:2.8 full open.

P.S. I have deactivated the SR, the camera doesn't ask me for the focal anymore, that's why the exif info says 200mm.
