Love the bird getting his breakfast/lunch there! Did he bring enough for all of us?

guess that's a valid reason to be piggy with what looks like a yummy grasshopper - any hopes of some nest bokeh?

Thanks! She was playing with her kong toy, and she just loves it. I had a real challenge picking which one to post - she's good at posing!

unfortunately, she made her nest in an orange 5-gallon bucket on the north porch - entirely unphotographic; I am hoping to get a shot of the immature wrens in a few days, but the nest itself would not garner a second glance.....

Well, looking it up again, I see that those danged taxonomists have changed it recently to Leucanthemum vulgare, but I guess that means it gets its own genus:

Chrysanthemum leucanthemum: Oxeye Daisy. Weed control, history and uses.

That's easy for you to say To me it's just a Daisy, which by the way was my Paternal Grandmother's name.
If and when I try and say big words like Chrysanthemum leucanthemum my "Tang becomes all Toungled and I start Balking Tackwards"
