Spindle tree photographed several years ago. The intense pink color of these is overwhelming.

One nice thing about my 2nd-floor apartment is I look out into the treetops. I like the view. When I take a picture out the window with my SMC Takumar 105mm f/2.8 lens, I can blur out the background of cars and street. It makes the view even better. That's what I like about photography - enhanced reality!

I've been trying to find something about the Primoplan, and there isn't much online, aside from the mention of poor coating, poor build and subsequent fungus, poor sharpness, low contrast etc. As I was reading these test results saying that Primoplan is a poor lens, I came across some very beautiful images made with it. It seems that some people focus on technical aspects (or finding faults), while others are searching for beauty. Of course, you need to know limitations of your gear.
