Thanks for the complement. A shot that made the whole day worthwhile. OK I give up, looking at your lens list and I'm still not sure which was involved in the Dragon shoot. Though I don't think its a Sigma colouring.

Shot of the dragon is with a Sigma 70-300 DL Macro , it was late in the afternoon and light was quite mellowed out ,I think from memory shot took about 5 secs with lens open at 300 , and then some PP in Photobucket.

Edit : I've edited the dragon shot with the settings.

Thanks. I like the first one too. I think the background has a sense of movement to it. Its title is Dancing Chairs.

Actually I wanna know how in the hell you got the AF to cooperate with snagging a moving fly out of mid air.
Mr. Miyagi with a camera.

I had no problem with the K10D, you need to bring the focus close manually the AF does the rest.
