Here is some backyard bokeh with a ground squirrel raiding my feeder. I don't know how much more his cheek pouches could carry!

Trying out an X70. I bought the camera to have as a loaner or giveaway. The super zoom is good for bird photography, but the image quality is only fair. I'd rather use a shorter zoom with better glass on an interchangeable lens camera and crop more if necessary. I like the colors and the bokeh, though.

I seem to be doing a lens test series on tiger lilies. In any case, today's installment is the Pentax K30 with a Helios 77m 50mm 1.8 The lens has better sharpness than all but the Helios 44-7 (of the Helios 44's) and the swirly bokeh is more subtle but still there.

Helios 77m at (an estimated) 2.2
