These are nice pepperberry. Love the composition with the eggs. The only way to improve it would be if there were a few oof chickens in the background.
I have that lens kicking around here somewhere. You've inspired me to pull it out.
yes!

thank you for your comments and definitely break out your copy of this underrated lens...

So this one hasn't bored you yet? Even though you owned a copy previously? You are getting some beautiful images with this one, is it just you are a better photographer with more experience now versus when you owned the older copy?

I think you may have this lens confused with the 02B that I previously owned... this is the first experience I've had with the 01BB...

I'd like to think that I've progressed in terms of my abilities - I know that when I review some of my older work, there is some cringing on my part...

I know that feeling pepper. Whatever made me think sharpness was of penultimate importance?

That's right this one is a 24mm, right Dave?

I also can appreciate the feeling when looking back at what I thought was OK back a year ago. I suspect it will always feel like that.

bingo - in Tamron's Adaptall world, the 01 was 24mm and the 02 was 28mm...

even my post-processing has improved over time, so it's not just the camera work...
