OK, I do not have it, and have not had the chance to try it. So far I am sticking by my D FA 50mm f 2.8 macro, although I am also quite fond of my Canon-FL 55mm f 1.2 (permanently converted to K-mount). However, I have definitely heard the good buzz about your prize f 1.4. Happy shooting!

Visited Mary's garden today with the Takumar 35mm f4 on the K-5. All shots are at f4 and SOC or minimally tweaked in post.

I've always loved my tried and true SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.4....I should use it more!
