The Bokeh Club

DA 50-200mm at 180mm. Even though it was at f5.6, I always loved how this one turned out.

One more from the DA 40mm at f2.8

I just picked up a Sigma Mini Wide II 28 2.8 today. Went to buy an M50 1.7, the guy didn't like the Sigma, said it was "soft". So I gave him $30 for the 50 and he threw the Sigma in for free. It's in mint condition.

Thanks for reminding me I have this lens, and your shot is a real beauty. I used to love this lens, time to re-discover

Thank you. It's all the lens. Someone in the marketplace was looking for one at a time when I needed cash to pay for something else. So I let it go, even though I said I never would. For being a 180mm lens it was surprisingly small and compact. Anybody wanting an excellent closeup lens in that range, but not necessarily macro (because of the price), I'd highly recommend it. I still have the 58mm f1:1.4 though. Haven't done much with that one either.

Yes it is. I'll have to get some. That is if you don't mind them from the IR K20d. The K5 is in for service.

Here are a few. Windy days where there are no colors to be found (snow covered everything) don't lend themselves very well to pretty bokeh shots but these should give you an idea.

More here.
