I think you may all be surprised!

Interestingly, you've listed the 2 primes I have (21 3.2 and 35 2.8) but it was neither!

It's taken with the 18-55WR kit lens I got with the K5.. And yes, I was surprised too..

Maybe I just have a good copy of the 18-55WR...

I actually prefer this one - also 18-55WR - but there's probly less bokeh to peep..does it count for the club?

Beautiful, JeffJS. Which lens did you use?

Here's one from my old Vivitar 85 preset @ f/1.8.

Thank you.. Pentax A50 f1:1.2 at f1.2. A case where a slight wind worked in my favor with the bush on the right. I think so anyway.

Are those Lights in your photo? I see what Looks like a wire pair. I never knew Vivitar made an f1.8 lens.

Agreed. I like it. I'm learning that bokeh doesn't have to be seamlessly smooth to be appealing. But, I've gotta say, I sure do love that butter!

Anyhow, yes, the Viv 85 seems to be a scarce lens. Made around 1970, I believe. If you haven't seen it, Pentax Forums has a good review here: Vivitar 85mm F/1.8 Pre-set T-mount Lens Reviews - Pentax Third-Party Lens Review Database

As for my picture, we're under a covered porch looking out at some trees. The only light on is the big one in the sky. In addition to the dragonflies, there are garden art / wind chime objects hanging around. Here's the same shot @ f/16:

Thank you, guys.

paperbag, it is not that different than original photo. As I have yelowed takumar, I went to correct the WB, and as I was playing with WB sliders in lightroom I liked this result.
