the 8 blade aperture on this lens produces the octagon bokeh, I like it. :0)

Daniel: That is a good shot! Too bad the bird did not have his tail extended. Great color and bokeh. Is taht sigma AF? How far were you? Is it wide open?

Thanks, Pepe! It's the AF version but not the DG - believed to be the same except for the coatings. At f2.8. Nice lens, like I said elsewhere I think it is almost on a par with Pentax 300/2.8 but has the advantage of AF, much more compact and portable. I also took this one with it which I think showcases the good contrast and 3-d feeling quite well:
