Teaching my son to smile without closing his eyes

Only received my first camera last week. Pentax K-30 with DA 35mm F2.4.

I was trying to teach my son how to smile without closing his eyes.

I don't have the exact info with my now but I believe I shot this a F2.4 with a fairly high shutter speed. Shot in RAW and only thing I did in LightRoom was increase the temp just a little bit.

Little bit of bokeh from the Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6. Wide open at 20mm (cross-posted from the Sigma 10-20 club):

Some beautiful bokeh in this thread.
But I'm disappointed that so many are not Pentax lenses or even Pentax cameras?

When this thread was started, the owner did not specify that photos had to come from Pentax cameras and/or lenses. So it's open to everyone . That said, with over 100 pages, the discussion has plenty of great examples featuring Pentax gear.

First bridal shoot, this is a 24 photo Brenizer style panoramic.

This one is one shot, cropped. The DA* 50-135 produces great bokeh,

I have a garage-sale Kiron 28mm f/2 that is stuck wide open. It does have some fun bokeh though! Check out that chain-link fence in the mid-background that was etched clearly into the bokeh even though it is at a distance where everything else is a smooth blur. Pretty funky!
