An experiment ... "close focus bokeh?" ... K-5 with Sigma 28/2.8 Mini-wide ... but here's the kicker, the Sigma is an MD mount, so I used a de-glassed adapter as an extension tube ... a "failed" wide open experiment maybe, but had fun trying it out J (SOOC & natural window light - xpost from pets thread)

Point & shoot bokeh with an old Canon Powershot A430. This is my "car glove-box camera"

I had an A470, it was a workhorse up until the camera went FZZZT after who knows how many shots were taken with it.

Have you hacked your camera at all? There's a utility out there that unlocks goodies like RAW and interval shooting on those old cameras.

Oh, and just so I feel like I contributed to the thread...

Sears 28mm f/2.8 macro, wide open. Taking advantage of a gloomy day.

Good use of old Sears glass Sagitta. Nailed the focus plane too. Well done.

Nah - I'm just happy the thing even works, after years of banging around inside my wife's purse. It looks like it's been on the battlefield - scratches & dings, and the viewfinder only works about 1/2 the time. Using that tiny LCD screen for composition on a bright day is daunting. But it's gotten me a few decent shots when it was all I had available. Nice rail shot, btw!

Jorgario - Thank you for "Liking" and for your comment. The lens was pentax-a 50mm f2. I'm still learning the lens - I hope I can repeat that.
