Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 35-80/2.8-3.8 (Model 01A) at about f/5.6 near MFD ...

[ EXIF shows higher F's because the PK/A used is broken; won't go below f4 and F range is off ... f4 = wide open ]

Wide open at MFD ...

OOFffff

Not sure about the lens used to shoot the first image . The next two are with Miranda 28mm f2.8 manual lens. The focal length entered is not correct(my ignorance at that time).

Thanks Sandy Hancock. I too regretting for not remembering that. I used to buy and use lots of old lenses. This shot must be from one of the (g)old glass. I believe it'd be Viv 70-210mm.Your post is really stunning. Full of colors.

That bokeh reminds me a little of my Sears/Tokina 70-210 - you can see a bit of curvature going on with the tilt of the elliptical bokehballs.

May as well post a few oldies from that lens - haven't used it lately, but I put it through its paces pretty well last year.

Another "Franken-lens" experiment ... a Panasonic "TV Slide Zoom Lens 9-54mm 1:1.4" mounted via Chinese K-mount extension tube.

Only very close focus possible at around 5 to 6 inches ... not sharp enough yet and will try to add an "ad hoc" aperture to stop down the lens and gain some sharpness (hopefully). First test captures on K-5 ... interesting bokeh with an extremely thin DOF.
