I strongly disagree.....the bokeh in that shot is fantastic and gorgeous. Beats any of my bird bokeh. Anyhow, Otis hates worthless birdies, they foul the air, according to Otis.

I like it! You just need a nice spider to finish it off......I'll be glad to loan you this one, but I need him back, he is a resident in my workshop and he keeps the bug population in check.

I don't normally use Jpegs, but sometimes they process better than the Raw files...these two did.

Another at ISO 12,800 Weak bokeh, but still there a little.

This is about as good as I am able to do......maybe it is time to hang it up?

Got carried away on the saturation, but I liked it anyhow!

That is an unusual shot, and I really like it! Some nice thinking on that one!

I'm going to give that one a ...nice shot!...Damn nice, in fact!

Going back down to ISO 3200 can make a big difference.....

I can recall the DS and K10D when getting a decent 3200 shot was only a dream.....things have come a long way since then, wonder what the future holds?

Regards!

Just for fun. I just saw an image from a Jupiter 37-A (135/3.5, 12 blades) on the Soviet lens thread and realized that I had not used mine in ages. So, while getting dinner ready, I zipped out into the backyard and had some quick fun. All shot at f/4 and the first is all alone in a squared wooden planter ...

Perfect lighting on that one! You can "see through" the leaves, lovely!

Jean...Very nice shots! You should use that lens more often!

Steve....Nice shot of a reminder that summer is leaving us for that long and nasty ugly weather that will be arriving all too soon.

Some nice green Bigma bokeh here...Otis liked this shot but for a different reason....

"Looky down there! It's that damn squirrel Otis and he has a BB gun!"

ISO 6400 may not get you a perfect shot, but you can still have some nice bokeh!

I know the bokeh would have been better if he had looked to his right, but he refused.

Regards!

I really enjoyed those, very nice shots. Loved the vivid colors and rendering of that lens!

All I got yesterday were a few Whitewing Dove shots on the Cheater Branch.....

I asked him to "look proud"...and he did!

An older guy...

A younger guy...

I always have time for a shot of Otis!

"Hey buddy, this damn feeder is empty!"
