Something other than a dove ...or a damn squirrel. I prefer bokeh that is more interesting .....like that shot by Tas...but smooth and creamy will work better than some of the ugly bokeh I often get, so when I get smooth and creamy I don't complain...too much.

Regards!

I have a bit of winter boredom going on.. not that much natural subjects for photography and my main PC is out due to motherboard issues . So time to share some bokeh experiments from last fall that are already on flickr.. Both taken with meyer optik görlitz trioplan 100mm lens.

Carl Zeiss Makro Planar T* 2/100 ZK @f2

Even sharpening applied across the entire image can't beat the Zeiss bokeh machine.

I like your Christmas spirit!

Some Bigma bokeh from the few shots I took this busy day right before Christmas....

These first two are pretty noisy, but I did like the poses and the cute little birdie!

These may be two of my better Bigma bokeh doves.....?

Bigma bokeh gets sort of nasty at 290mm......but you can see that the doves do like my Cheater Branches!

Regards! Hope everyone is prepared for a very Merry Christmas! Best Wishes from me and Otis to all here!

Merry Christmas to everyone here! I hope your day is wonderful!

Both Otis and Jays remind......bokeh is nice, but secondary to peanuts! If you have peanuts, you have what you need!

Otis spots the last one!

A proud peanut owner on Christmas eve!

A dejected Jay that got there too late.

Regards!

SMC Pentax 200mm F2.5

Bought this classic as a broken mess, fixed it up and loving it now, what a great lens.
