most of your finer knife manufacturers carry a selection of santokus; I find them to be a very versatile blade in the kitchen....

Hosta Petioles in the Shade (x-posted)

These Hosta petioles were taken with what I often described as my surgeon's tool: the Super Tak 135mm f/2.5. Without exaggeration, this is really a "brand-new" lens with virtually no indication of even light use by the seller, who was a serious collector of Takumars. (He had fallen on hard times and decided to sell me a few collector's items.) Even the hard case that came with it is in mint condition.

I love how this lens renders buttery smooth bokeh.

Thanks Tas. I cannot seem to ID this plant/flower. We had major flooding at a local lake last Spring, and after the waters receded, the ground was covered with these weeds/flowers. I'd never seen them before the flooding.
