K-1 with FA100 Macro.

If you're still wondering whether to upgrade to a K-1, this may help:

Do you own any legacy Pentax glass?

Yes -> Sell your car and Buy a Pentax K-1.
No -> Sell your car and a kidney and Buy a Pentax K-1 and some legacy Pentax Glass.

Do you own any AF Pentax FF Glass?

Yes -> Sell your car and Buy a Pentax K-1.
No -> Sell your car and a kidney and Buy a Pentax K-1 and some AF Pentax FF Glass.
If I sell my beat up car I can buy a K-1 and a bycicle, probably. Considering my 20 mile commute, it might not be the best idea

Great images by the way.

And awesome images from Jean. The 3D effect on that Pentacon is amazing.

Think of the pictures you'd get on your leisurely ride into work!

Another couple from the FA100 Macro (can't seem to get it off the K-1)

I'm still trying to learn to use the DFA macro 100mm f2.8 WR. One of the things that keeps me trying is the remarkable and varied macro it's capable of producing.

My most recent copy of the M 50 1.7 seems as sharp and contrasty as the previous one, and the bokeh seems pretty good as well All wide open:

Lovely bokeh so far on this page......you guys have beautiful blooms......I may have a new camera but I still have doves too!

1/100 handheld @ 500mm in crop mode...ISO 10,000 No noise reduction in or out of camera on this one.

This ISO 12,800 ISO squirrel claims his bokeh is better.....I'm sorry, but I'm just not seeing it?

After I play a little more with the crop mode, I will try some FF shots and maybe some pixel shift shots....right now I'm just having a lot of fun!

Regards!

I hate to see such violence! Did he need plastic surgery afterwards?

This little newbie female Cardinal claims she can out-bokeh any squirrel....she may be right?
