Carol, the last one....purple...is just outstanding!

Not a dove....not a squirrel.....just shot #800 from my new K1.

He said he would pose for #800 if I would send a copy to his girlfriend....He did and I did!

People ask..."Rupert, do you really talk to the animals?" Sure I do! ...and they talk back, unless they are ignoring me..... which is fairly common!

Hope his girlfriend liked it!

Regards!

210mm f/5.6 SC Componon stacked on the 50mm f/2.8 SM Cassarit. Came out better than I was expecting it.

Hi Rupert, I've bought this lens from a local seller. Some basic info can be found here Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 50mm F/2.9 V - Review, specification and sample photos - AFLenses.net . However, I'm not really sure if this lens exists in M42 mount (I think it's only Altix and Exakta, but adaptation to M42 is possible). Its bigger brother is - much more famous (but also much more expensive) - Trioplan 100mm f2.8.

Seems like MOG has a plan to revitalize both Trioplan lenses, but I don't expect them to beat the originals. Meyer-Optik-Goerlitz | Lenses made in Germany

Rupert, I've adapted my copy from a Beltica folding camera. Those can be found on ebay for 10 or so euros sometimes, example.

After, they can be adapted to DSLR with a bit of tinkering to remove the shutter assembly, I used a helicoid I had lying around to provide focusing but other solutions exist (short tinray helicoids from ebay or similar).

Also interesting.....I'm not too handy at tinkering with lenses myself. I tried once ages ago....I still find some teeny-tiny ball bearings around from it every so often.

Rupert, thank you! That was just after a rain.

I'm glad you are there to referee between those doves & Otis; otherwise there would be feathers & fur all over!

Inspired by the squirrels and birds the insects have decided to try to produce bokeh. The bumblebee tried, but he was just too easily distracted by lunch to give it his full attention. Flies apparently are better at multitasking.

You better print that one Carol...it's sure 'nuff keeper!

In case anyone wants to know what ISO 12,800 bokeh is like? Keep in mind that I don't have any really good late edition noise reducing programs...so this is just amateur work....

This little guy popped his head out to say if given a chance he can do twice as good....

Regards!

It's a never ending battle. A Woody pecked on a squirrel's head today and all heck broke out...you'd have thought he was critically injured.
