Keep an eye on him. He may be unscrewing the branch to get back at the jays.

When it comes to the squirrels, nothing would surprise me. They do have a passion for hating the Jays....

Just lovely!

Recently took a trip to the PNW region and I have a few images to share... however I still have a fair bit of photos to go through and time is limited so they'll come slowly.

From the Oregon coastal region...K-1 + *55mm, a wonderful combo

Grass at an Oregon dune

Oregon seaside cliff

Also while organizing my catalog I came across some bokeh filled oldies but goodies taken with my trusty K-01 (I still love that camera)
K-01 + DFA 100mm WR from 2 years ago (Yes, I'm a big fan of dragonfly's )

Posing dragonfly
That first picture is just wonderful.

The DA 16-45 can have bokeh if the circumstances are right

And a little something from the F 50 1.7

He wanted a framed bokeh shot for his girlfriend...

I told this squirrel his shot is not "bokeh worthy" and he said it needs to be posted anyhow to show people not to try this at home, you could get badly hurt.
So if anyone here is contemplating going down a tree upside down......this one is for you.

mattb123...That is a wonderful shot! Your daughter?

Regards!

Thanks! No, it's a younger sister of someone my son was playing in a community concert with. She loved having her photo taken so I had lots of opportunities. Such a cutie!

Well, you did her an excellent service and I hope her parents got that shot?
When I had my little downtown studio I shot a lot of families, young aspiring models, graduates and some old people......but my favorite subjects were the young children. So full of life, so enthusiastic!

The shop next door was owned by a young man with a gorgeous little daughter that loved to come over and "model" for me. Her Granny would bring her over often and we would have such fun! It was the highlight of my week when her Granny brought her over and we got to shoot under the strobes for hours.

She was headstrong and called all the shots....me and Granny just did what she wanted, and it was often hilarious!

Ava...she like to bring her puppy too! Often asked if we could get her puppy in the movies!

"Just snap it...I'll smile later!"

More of Ava...... https://www.flickr.com/photos/35763648@N05/albums/72157633037410237/page1

Wish I had the K1 back then! Although my K5 was fine, everything about the K1 is better and much easier to use and process.

Kids are the future and they are the light of the world, with hope they can do better than we have done.

Best Regards!
