Thanks!, I never go out without a Helios in my bag (in fact I usually carry 3 or 4 out of the 7 I currently have)
And I also much prefer the older ones (44, 44-2 or 44-3 over the newer 44M, 44M4 or 44M-6).

You captured quite the variety of colors in that last picture. Pretty Cool!

Thanks . No I got this right at the end of last year. Just haven't used it much.

Wow #3 is amazing! You never fail to impress with your 50-135. I am curious to know what made that background so colorful. And what kind of rose is that?
Thank you for such kind words guys The back ground is pot of flowers (primroses) and a conifer behind that. I cropped a bit and boosted contrast I don't know the type of the rose it is,but I will post here once it flowers.

How do you like the Sigma Art a5m? I've read it gives some awesome creamy Bokeh

Very nice good job. We planted roses last year so looking forward to putting my newly acquired 50-135 to use this year

I really like the Sigma taks. The bokeh is amazing, and even though it's a bit big and heavy the results are worth it. Sharp from wide open too. @pjv has one and he loves it.

Not the best example but this is the original image and you can see how it creams the background, which wasn't even too far from the subject.

Yes the Art lens producing very creamy OOF area. So many options to choose from in the focal range with limited budget Oh well, I have several month to think about it until my birthday

Tell me about it. Limited budget is a problem for most of us. You can follow a search for it on eBay so you get daily notifications for new listings, and keep an eye on the forum. In your hands it'll be sure to shine

Thanks much!

It's not often I "see" a good subject, and even rarer that I can "put it all together."

You guys are posting some very lovely blooms....wish I had some around here, but not yet. We are getting some nice wildflowers, maybe I'll get some shots of those soon.

This little Downy woodpecker has developed a taste for that peanut sap....

"Those squirrels are on to something...this is pretty good stuff!"

My little Cardinal model doesn't see it that way...

"If there is anything more disgusting than a filthy squirrel it is an obnoxious woodpecker!"

Regards!
