My sister came to visit last month, and we decided to go for a cruise in downtown. I brought the K-3 and FA43 along. I was driving, so I put it in Green Mode and handed it over to her. This is her first ever DSLR shot using one of Pentax's best lenses ever made in my opinion.  | |

There's a period of time when the immature cardinals resemble females, but their beaks are dark, not bright like beaks of adults of either gender. The one in your picture still has some blackish patches on his beak, though he's starting to get a some red adult feathers coming in all over his body. | |
