That is lovely Walter! Gorgeous colors too!

Once in a while a squirrel really does get some nice bokeh!

"Yep, but look at my handsome tail, it beats the bokeh!"

Regards!

Medium format lens garden bokeh

Looking for garden bokeh with K-1 and adapted Pentax-A 645 200mm f 4.0. The 645 lenses are a hidden asset to having the Pentax full-frame camera. You get SR, camera WR, all the controls of the K-1, but lose very little image quality. (I cannot verify that last claim, and it would be very interesting if someone could run a test using 645 lenses installed on the K-1 against those same lenses installed on the 645D/Z in order to see what differences emerge.) The A 645 200mm f 4.0 does not get much love from the medium format users, not thought to be very sharp, but for less than $100 is a value-priced option at its focal length.

Any way, here are a few shots from this morning out in my garden.

Thanks a lot. Even if I don't always comment on the wonders of Otis (and his feathered friends) I do enjoy them.

Sorry about the small sized photo. I got very little space left to upload. When there's no more space left, I'd be gone.
Here's the Basket of Bokeh.
