The first image is especially nice.
The image below has varying degrees of defocus behind prominent seed tuft.

It takes a little time to realize that this photo is all bokeh. One reviewer noted that the Formula 5 135mm 1.8 incorporates every known lens aberration - but that was a positive. In any case, wide open, glowy, somehow we missed the chroma on this one.

Really nice shot. Such glows make "atmosphere" in this image.

Thank you These were from new to me da35 limited. I finally got it after a member of the forum recommended me this lens on the crop sensor

What is the smallest amount of the subject that may be in focus (or nearly in focus) for the picture to still be satisfying is a question that the pursuit of bokeh sometimes asks.

Thanks for your kind words, tregubovav. Often a new lens with a new set of oddities stimulates the creative process.

Here's another impressionist, all bokeh shot.
