Those are lovely shots of my favorite color blooms. You did good Walter, very good!

After 11 days in the hospital.....in which I damn near died on the first two, I got back home late yesterday afternoon. Got a chance to sit at my desk once again and shoot out the windows. Not much was out there...nothing on the cheater branches, but this little Whitewing dove was on the cedar fence.

His stance reminds me of a duck? Nothing special but the natural bokeh turned out to coordinate nicely with his colors.

Regards!

Good to have you back where you belong Rupert, especially when you're saying nice things about my posts . Keep up the good work. And have a care for breathing - keep that up as well. It's healthy.

Lots of excellent posts in this thread every day......you do fine work, it is easy to compliment!
Yep, breathing is pretty important.....on the10th I found out that not breathing can kill you! I also found that dying is not as bad as how you get there if you can't breathe. Much better now and hopefully will be able to manage my condition for a little more time on this earth. So good to be back home......though it was a little disheartening to find signs posted all over the Woods of Otis and hanging from the cheater branches advertising for a "New Photographer" ...with a line below that said...."Better than the old one"

Best Regards!
