A lens with pixie dust. An early version Helios 40, sitting on a Spotmatic, and snapped by a Helios 44-2.

I am starting to get the hang of this bokeh thing. This was a bit unexpected, I only noticed it afterwards. Taken on a K200D with an A 400mm f/5.6 (at f/6.7).

The cheeky fellow is a rock hyrax (Procavia capensis), also called rock badger or Cape hyrax, more commonly known in South Africa as the dassie.

"Cookie bokeh?" Is that a new flavor of ice cream? I'll have to look carefully through the Breyer's next time I shop.
