Thousand thanks everybody for the very positive feedback for my recent M1.7/50@K-1 posts!
For those who may want to build up a similar „Lego“ macro lens (DA TC 1.4x - M1.7/50 - Achromat) let me add the info that the achromat is 62mm and I use a 49-62mm step-up ring to adapt it to the 1.7/50. Could be important to get no vignetting.
(Please skip if not interested) some additional thoughts ...
imo using unsharpness is a very important sometimes complex concept in real life communication as is in communication through pictures. Slight change of color balance influences feeling the captured scenery. These two compositional elements together with perspective are key for me to express perception of a moment.
Although I love my gear and working with it, lens and camera play second fiddle for the final product. But together with post processing capabilities they lay the ground to transform life into picture. I think it’s important for a photographer to do the whole process in person - photography suburb and post processing if film or digital.

When I look at these pictures I’m really surprised and nearly can't believe that I got it using solely global adjustments in pp!
