Very nice, Walt.

Not nearly as cheerful as the above image - vines by the lake [F35-80]:

I think that might qualify as rime. Looks too granular to be hoarfrost.

Interesting. I've never heard those terms before, and I'm an avid weather channel watcher.

I just got the HD 35mm Ltd last week and had a great time taking some pics right away. These are the first two photos that I've ever posted here, despite being a member for years.

Nice job! I really like the bokeh in your second one.

From the Pentax LX and FA 77 Limited. Shot at f/1.8 on (very) expired film. Stand developed in Caffenol-C-L for 45 minutes.

So much beautiful bokeh on this thread, thought I'd post some crummy background. Too jumbled-busy and not adequately softened.

Okay, this one's just for fun, not for anyone to learn how to take a better bokeh shot from ....

... 'cause the sharper and straighter shots just didn't feel as fun to look as as this one.

Subject: Rosemary Clooney - Perez Prado : "A Touch of Tobasco" LP, playing on ELAC Miracord 50H turntable with Stanton 680E cartridge.
Equipment: Super-Takumar f1.4 50mm, wide open; K10D, iso 400, and a bit too-slow shutter speed for the subject and the dancing photographer movement.

Prickly Rose in winter

Trying to break out of the winter photo slump. K-1 + Super-Tak 55/1.8 @ f/2.8. Should probably have focused on the side branches rather than the terminal tip.
