Mountain azalea, Rhododendron canescens, the most common wild azalea in piedmont North Carolina. The park near my house is full of them. SMC Takumar 105 f/2.8.

This lens seems to have a very interesting bokeh.
I am waiting for my new Fa 77 to replace my broken one. I am so much looking forward to it.

Super Multi Coated Takumar 35mm f/2 wide open.

Received this lens yesterday from Germany at a good price and took it for a walk with my dogs.

Pretty surprising soap bubble bokeh.

Thank you for your comment. I really like this one from you. Very nice And great focusing too. I don't think I could've gotten my K3 to focus on the small bud in that light. (my lack of technique )

few more

I'm a big fan of manually focusing to a set point and then moving the camera forwards and backwards till I achieve the focus I am looking to achieve....sometimes it works ;-)

Thats exactly what I usually do. Most af lenses are changing focus area to fast for me in mf to get it as good as I demand from myself otherwise.

This is THE lens I'd take to a desert island. I paid less than 75 EUR for it (what an irony...?!).

Thank you for sharing your technique First, I have to learn to stand still or carry tripods (I must be swaying too much) or fire at the right moment when I get lucky and find focus

I guess it's not the last one you bought
(Especially when it's painting such a lovely bokeh...)
