Nice flower pics. As always
This lens is the best in its class, among those available in Pentax mount.
It's the last expensive glass I bought. I still have to properly test its qualities, but the first shots look very promising.
I have been fortunate enough to find one second hand, boxed and like new, for a decent price. Also found a used Sammy 2/135mm, but my bid wasn't high enough to win the auction. Recent Samyang lenses are of great quality, and of terrific value. Unfortunately second hand ones are rare. It seems that most people stick to them, I guess because of lack of alternatives.

Btw, the bokeh in your photos look excellent, and shows that there is a use for fast super wides.

Cheers

Paolo
Thanks, Paolo! Both 24mm and 135mm are excellent lenses (offering very good price/performance ratio).

Two heavily-cropped sections of images I took of a spruce tree this morning. SMC Takumar 105mm f/2.8 at f/4.

Thanks, CharLac, you are too kind. I've been trying to learn from the masters at this site and sometimes I get something I like. These two I think owe a lot to zzeitg though I don't have any pretensions that I will ever come up to his level. The orange is a plastic construction fence to protect some of the plantings from machinery they are using to rebuild the paths in the local park.

I had so much fun taking pictures of the spruce tree that I went back this morning for more. These are both with an SMC Takumar 55mm f/2 reverse-mounted on a Fujifilm X-T20 body. The depth of field was so shallow that I had to stop down 2 stops just to get a stem and its needles in focus.
