Does it cover the format?
The picture is sharp and with a wonderful separation of planes.

Is it one of the golden projection objectives also sold under he Isco brand?
I wanted to buy one since long, but I was afraid that the length of the lens would make the adaptation to a SLR impossible

cheers

Paolo

I took Charlotte quite late this afternoon to a flute lesson and slipped off to the botanical garden to test the recently acquired Auto Rikenon 35/2.8. All wide open and @ or near MFD ... x-post from K-1 thread.

It is indeed one of the golden projector lenses. Fixed aperture at f/2.0 and adapted for the 645 by The Bokeh Factory in Poland.

Shot with some DA70 Limited bokeh to keep it honest

It is designed for 70mm film, so full frame medium format is well within its capability. The crop sensor of the 645Z is no problem at all.

More from yesterday's efforts at the botanical garden ... I switched lenses to another recently acquired oldie ... a Fujinon 55/2.2 shot wide open and at or near MFD. First image is a re-take ... (x-post from K-1 thread)
