The Schneider projector lens I've been using all month has no adjustable aperture at all. It's f/2.0 or it's nothing. Rather fun
Well, wide open it's really bad if there is any strong light source around. PF wide open can also be more than any lens I've ever seen. But the rendering... And as much as the rendering is pleasing at f1.4, it's absolutely gorgeous at f2 and f2.8. It has a 3d rendering with amazing colors and even better bokeh than wide open.
I'm really talking myself into doing a CLA for it, am I not?
and I do have a few other fifties...
