Medium format bokeh

Bokeh with newly acquired Pentax-A 2X Rear Converter and Pentax-A 200mm f 4.0. On the positive side, this converter preserves all the usual Pentax A-lens capabilities, so any shooting mode is possible. On the negative side, this converter costs two stops, so the 200mm f 4.0 drops to f 8.0, no real problem for outside photography with the 645Z's high ISO capability. Even though the 200mm is possibly the least-praised P645 lens, the results seem encouraging to me.

...and now for something completely different...

...f/1.2 raging bull bokeh...

K-1 + K 1:1.2/50mm; @f/1.2; linked to flickr scaled ooc jpg

...i learned a lot in this moment...
...there is always an individual physical distcance to any model a photographer should respect...
...accurate manual focusing and picture framing is difficult if unforeseen moving backwards cowering down...
...50mm is too short for wildlife...
...i am an idiot...

This shot could be anywhere in the usa. In a few years it will be all that is left. No need for travel.

This is true. Although the mall in the town where I work is very poorly managed and slowly dying because of it. It was purchased by a teachers union as an investment, and left to run itself, until they hire a management company that knows what it's doing, it will die. Right now, nearly 1/3 of the mall is empty. Sad really because it sits in the downtown area.

The one in the picture is run by Simon, and frankly, it's giving the small local companies a run for their money. Hard to compete when you can park your car and get everything you ever need before you leave.
