I have spent far too much time with zooms...for good reasons of course, but I am really starting to fall in love with my primes all over again...I think the new 100mm macro wr is responsible

As my DA560 permanently occupies K-3 and DFA 150-450 permanently occupies K-1, I have to use the old good K-7 for "normal" shooting .
(But one day, hopefully not too far away, the DFA will leave K-1 and stick to the new APS-C flagship (however it's called). As we have 100 years of Pentax in 2019, I guess we deserve some gifts...)

Interesting camera/lens permanent pairings. The K-7 is still quite a competent camera, and I have a permanent pairing of the M42 adapter the K-7 in order to use it with my Takumar lenses. Perhaps someone could start a thread in the appropriate part of the Forum for folks to tell which permanent pairings they have and why.

Posty, snowy bokeh.

Here we have a post with pond and snow bokeh in the background. Sorry, took this several days back and have forgotten camera and lens, but Pentax guaranteed, most likely K-1.

I keep looking for a reason to buy the FA 100mm macro, but I already have four full-frame macros and one medium format macro plus a maybe a half-dozen "half macros" that do not go to 1:1. I do not like using AF with macro photographs, so AF does not give me a reason, so the buying justification has to be superior image quality, nice handling characteristics, or something else--but since when has lens buying lunacy (AKA LBA) required such justifications! :>) I am sure I will get there with either the FA or more expensive WR version during the next year even though one of my planned New Year's resolutions is to buy fewer lenses.

Great shots. I love the D FA 50mm f 2.8 macro. This is one of my most used lenses, and if I am not sure which lens to take, I just take it--especially when my wife has the 77 limited locked down on one of her cameras, which is most of the time. In my lens cabinet, there are four lens in one line up with focal lengths in this order: 43, 31, 77, and 50/f 2.8, which sorta tells the story!

So you have about three weeks to get all the lenses you need before the resolution kicks in.

Thanks David I took that photo in October, but I recently went back to that bench to look for the sandal. It was there, on the ground buried in leaves.
