More blooms & bokeh. Came across a batch of garden flower images that I'd largely forgotten. Some are OK.

If I didn't know better, I would say those are lilacs. We are still 3-4 days away from having blossoms on around 70 lilacs. They never make it by Easter here in northern Ohio, missed by about week and a half this year.

Yes. No blossom buds on our lilacs, our mock-orange, our flowering crab apple, and only a few on the weeping cherry. The image is from last Spring (check the exif).

Tulip season Keukenhof

Tulips in Keukenhof.
Taken with D-FA 50mm F/2.8 Macro and Pentax K-1.

Normally the bokeh of the D-FA 50mm Macro and D-FA100mm Macro WR are not that smooth, but you may compensate by closing in on the subject, and choosing your background. Then it is doable to get an acceptable picture.
