Although I've never seen any viable-looking seeds come out of the bargain, a small minority of our irises produce seed capsules after they finish flowering.



My first tests with this lens showed essentially no bokeh capability, but then, today, using its longest focal length (35mm) and shooting near its closed focusing distance and with background elements some additional feet away, something a little like bokeh can be produced! The filter might have played a role in the camera choosing a wider stop, too.

Phoenix/Cosina AF f/3.5-4.5 19-35mm
Tiffen Warm Low-light Polarizer *
Pentax K-R
A bit of cropping to remove extraneous marginal stuff, and slight pp.

* I got this filter to try on a mirror lens, but it seems to help with this len's flair susceptibility...at least until I get a hood for the lens.
