Pepperberry, The Fiestaware reminds me of the couple we bought this old house from. The woman was intent on painting the various rooms in different Fiestaware colors. The kitchen is green apple, the upstairs bathroom
was that sorta burgundy color--we called it Amityville red. It's now a bluish green or greenish blue, roughly the color of the stalks of British Soldier Lichen (
Cladonia cristella, I think it is Cladonia cristatella). Close, anyway.
Anyway . . . here are a couple images of day lilies from late afternoon today. The lens was what was on the K-3ii, the M 100/2.8; I think the aperture was f/4, but I was really tired when I made these, so I can't be sure. These are crops, but I guess you can tell that from the aspect ratio. . . .
