You seem to be enjoying that K 50/1.2 . . . ;-)

By the way . . . is that a new tagline at the bottom--"Long live manual lenses. Long live the OVF. Long live Pentax." If it's not, I don't know how I missed it before. I like it.

I am greatly enjoying that lens

I changed the signature a few weeks ago. I'm glad you feel the same!

Photographers Dream

Street entertainers are just made for photographers... like they were put there especially just for me.

Captured wide open with my “Sweetheart” Pentax-A*85mm F1.4... with a bit of bokeh, backlight and a wee audience were just an added bonus.

She's definitely a sweetheart, that lens. And . . . nice photograph!

I checked out Matthew Lennox's youtube videos after seeing your photo here. Wow, that guy's got it. Watching him reminds me why I don't use loopers--I would totally confuse myself--but he sure knows what to do with one.

I'd love to photograph him. We don't have street musicians in our little village, and if we did, they wouldn't sound like Matthew Lennox, and they sure wouldn't move like he does. I'm thinking a low ISO, maybe 1/60 sec., a neutral density filter in order to shoot close to wide open for a bit of blur and a goodly amount of bokeh. . . . (The fly in that ointment is that with the ND filter, I would have a really hard time focusing manually, wouldn't I?)

Anyway, nice work! I'd love to see more of your street musician photos, Kerrowdown!

In Scottish light you can shoot wide open nearly any time without drama, just like this one... shot at 1/3200s, @ F/1.4, ISO 400
