Great use of negative space in first photo. It is hard for me to express another impression that the photo creates when I look at it, but I will just say that I feel a sense of unease as if something is left out. Something is bothering me, but I cannot say what it is, maybe just the dynamic tension created by having a photo with lots of negative space and still having the primary object almost perfectly centered. I like the photo and consider it unusual for a still life of a minor object to evoke the feelings I have described. I would be very interested in your response and/or responses from others about this same photo.

Thank you on your comments. I took these photos last evening just to try out my Pentacon which I don't use very often and make some bokeh photos for this forum. I tried to play with light, colours and lines to create some meaningful images of everyday's dull objects. But as you can see something more in them, it again gives me idea not to take everyday for granted but to find meaning and beauty in all the things that surround us. That is one of the great powers of photography. We are blessed in some way to see and frame the beauty that surrounds us...
