After cleaning a fairly filthy dehumidifier and then mowing the yard, I still couldn't resist the gorgeous weather here in Spring Green, WI today, so I mounted the A 100/2.8 macro on the K-3ii and went back outside. The problem was that one of the reasons it was so pleasant out was the breeze, which was really more wind than breeze. Not many things wanted to stay still for very long.

This clover blossom is the only decent thing I got, and it's a really close crop to weed out undesirable elements that seemed desirable when I framed the image. ISO 800, f/8, 1/160 sec., handheld (supported by my elbows on the ground as I lay prone).

That Topcor 58/1.4 produces wonderful images, so lush in color and texture.

Beautiful, Pepperberry. . . .

When I was first delving into 35mm with my dad's Retina Reflex S, my sister's fiancé was shooting with a Spotmatic and a friend of his with a Beseler Topcon Super D. I never used the Topcon, but since then I've read what great cameras they are, and also how superb the 58/1.4 is. Your post confirms what I read about the lens, for sure! And, of course, the bokeh is nice, too!

While out looking for red squirrels, (didn't find any) found this shield bug on barbed wire, taken with a k-70 with the 60-250 and 1.4 tc.
